Hello everyone! I’m really excited to share my journey of setting up my smart home with Govee products. I’ve recently purchased a few Govee items and I’m looking for some advice on how to best layout my space. Here’s what I have:
- 100ft RGBIC Strip Light
- 2 Govee Glides
- Dreamview T1Pro (planning to use it with my TV)
- 16.4 ft RGBIC Strip Light
I’ve attached a rough layout of my room, but I’m not entirely sure how to position everything for the best effect. I want to make sure the lighting flows well and enhances the ambiance without being overwhelming.
I’ve heard that proper placement can really make a difference, especially with RGB lights. Does anyone have any tips on where to position the strip lights for the most impact? Also, I’m curious about how to integrate the Govee Glides seamlessly into the setup. Should they be used as standalone features or paired with the strip lights?
I’m also thinking about how to control everything. The Dreamview T1Pro seems like a great addition for my TV setup, but I’m not entirely sure how it will interact with the other Govee devices. Will they all be controllable from one app, or do I need separate controls?
If anyone has experience with similar setups or has some layout suggestions, I’d really appreciate the help! I’m looking forward to creating a cohesive and stylish smart home environment.
