Hey everyone, I’ve recently set up a few Govee smart bulbs in my home, and I’m really impressed with how most of them work. They’re bright, colorful, and super easy to control via the app. However, I’ve run into a couple of issues that I’m hoping someone here can help me with.
First off, I have three bulbs from the same batch, but two of them don’t seem to work properly with the dimmer slider in the app. No matter where I slide it, the brightness either jumps too much or doesn’t change at all. It’s a bit frustrating because I was really looking forward to creating different lighting moods in my living room.
The second issue is with the base of one of the bulbs. It’s really short, which makes it impossible to use in my existing lamp fixtures. I had to buy an adapter to make it fit, but it’s not an ideal solution. I’m wondering if others have encountered this problem and if there’s a better workaround.
On the plus side, the regular bulbs are amazing. They’re consistent, reliable, and have a great color spectrum. I’d love to hear if anyone has tips on how to fix the slider issue or if they’ve found a better way to use these bulbs in standard fixtures.
