I’ve been absolutely thrilled with my recent purchase of the Govee Spotlight! After unboxing and setting it up, I was impressed by the sleek design and ease of installation. The initial testing was smooth, and the app integration made controlling the lights a breeze. I thought I’d share my experience and a quick update on my current project.
I’m in the process of installing two sets of Govee Pro outdoor lights around my roofline. Each set is 150 feet long, which should cover the entire perimeter of my house. My plan is to start both sets at the same point and have them extend in opposite directions, meeting on the other side. I’m curious if anyone has experience with this setup and if there are any potential issues I should be aware of, especially regarding linking the two sets or programming the lights. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Another thing I wanted to mention is the Govee pool thermometer. While it works beautifully when it’s near the gateway, I’ve noticed that it loses signal when it’s placed in my skimmer, which is surrounded by concrete. I’d love to see a future version of this product with a slightly longer range to avoid this issue.
On a lighter note, I’ve been experimenting with the Govee Car Underglow RGBIC DIY kit. The colors are absolutely stunning, and it’s been a fun project to customize my car’s lighting. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to add some flair to their ride!
Lastly, I’m excited to share that I’ve won a few small items from the Govee Lucky Capsule Machine. It’s a great way to get some neat accessories and support the community. I’m looking forward to seeing what other cool features Govee will release in the future, especially with Matter support!
Overall, my experience with Govee products has been fantastic, and I’m eager to continue exploring their offerings. If anyone has questions or tips about their products, feel free to reach out!
