I’ve been using the Govee Indoor & Outdoor Thermometer for a few weeks now, and I wanted to share my experience with the community. This device has been a game-changer for monitoring both indoor and outdoor temperatures!
The setup was incredibly simple. I paired the indoor and outdoor sensors with the Govee app via Bluetooth in just a few minutes. The outdoor sensor has a handy screw hole for mounting, which I used to attach it to my porch. Both devices are clearly labeled in the app as “in” and “out,” making it easy to track their respective environments.
One feature I particularly love is the temperature and humidity alerts. I set up notifications for when the temperature drops below freezing outside, which has been super helpful during the colder months. The app also provides hourly, daily, and monthly graphs, which give a clear overview of temperature trends over time.
The backlight is another standout feature. It illuminates the screen for 15 seconds when pressed, which is perfect for checking readings in low-light conditions. However, I wish the backlight could stay on permanently, as it would be more convenient for frequent checks.
The device’s size surprised me—it’s much larger than I expected, at 4.5 inches. While it’s durable and easy to read, I can see how this might not be ideal for everyone. I’d recommend this product to anyone who needs reliable, real-time temperature monitoring for both indoor and outdoor spaces.
