According to the documentation I can set the blue light on the H2 dimmer switch to be on when the switch is off. This is apparently controlled in the app, but I have found nothing in the manual to explain this and the app is a labyrinth of dead ends and loops.
So where can I set this up?

Did you do anything after installation? Change something in the software on the switch?
It would help to understand how you’re connecting the H2 (Matter, Zigbee, to Aqara Hub, to something else?) and provide examples of your menus.
I have an H2 US dimmer, I think the menus are partly similar in this setup. Zigbee mode.
The EU version has this comparison of Thread and Zigbee modes, I believe the US version has similar features. The light setting is exclusive to Zigbee
It is setup via Matter with M100 as controller and HA as my primary controller. I have flashed two switches to Zigbee and the other three that I have on Matter will now also follow.
I bought the M100 primarily in order to be able to switch from Matter to Zigbee.
I checked the menus and the zigbee menu has more options.
