It’s been a year and there is basically no feature added to H2 switch in thread mode. Is there some difficulties in implementing feature such as button decouple mode in thread?
Aqara should take this device as an example of how to implement it (see the compliance document).
One endpoint for each channel with multiple sub-endpoints, each with one Matter Mode Select Cluster. They are used to toggle the decoupled mode and probably the LED and the child lock.
Matter device manufacturers should make themselves familiar with the Mode Select Cluster. And yes, I know that the popular smart home platforms aren’t ready yet, but that’s just a question of time.
I am about to order almost 40 devices to use in my matter network - does Aqara really not support basic matter implementations of mode select clusters so I can customize the switch settings? Many ecosystems now support this - even Google just launched a native experience.
I might have to return the other devices if they don’t build this.
