H2 switch + smart light pattern

I would like to share philosophy of my H2 switches which I have applied to all my rooms.

“Single click” - smart switch on/off. When light is off, single clicks switch on different lights with different level of brightness and temperature based on context (time, devices state, number of people in the room,…)

“Double click” - is always “I need as much as possible light” - it always switch on lights with maximum brightness

“Long click” - is always “turn off everything”

Example of my bathroom:

I have 2 H2 switches in the bathroom - main switch near the door and for the light of a mirror near wash basin.

Single click on main switch:

  • enable 100% brightness main light from 6 am till 8 pm
  • enable 75% brightness main light from 8 am till 10 pm
  • enable 50% brightness main light from 10 am till 0 am
  • enable 10% brightness main light from 0 am till 4 am
  • enable 50% brightness main light from 4 am till 6 am
  • disable main light if light is on

Single click in mirror switch just switch on/off mirror light

Double click on any switch connected with this room ALWAYS enable main light 100% plus turn on light on the mirror

Long click on any switch ALWAYS switch off main and mirror light

Those rules work in any room, making default behaviour (single click) smart

The top button by default duplicates single click behaviour, but for some rooms it cloud be assigned to another automation
