Halloween is just around the corner, and I’m thrilled to share my latest DIY project for this spooky season! This year, I decided to go all out with a warm and cozy vibe using dark shades of red and orange. You can check out my setup here, but I wanted to focus on how I integrated my smart home devices to enhance the experience. Spoiler alert: The automation and lighting setup were the real stars of the show!
One thing I’ve been experimenting with is combining multiple brands for a seamless experience. For instance, I paired my Govee lights with some Sonoff switches to create dynamic scenes that change based on the time of day. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, especially with 2-way and multi-gang switches, but the results are worth it!
