As Halloween approaches, I’m excited to share my experience with integrating smart lighting into my holiday decorations. This year, I decided to take my Halloween setup to the next level by using smart lights to create a spooky yet inviting atmosphere. 
I started by purchasing a set of purple and orange lights for my porch, which I’ve been adjusting to match my desired color scheme. The more I shop for decorations, the more ideas I get, but it’s essential to plan ahead to avoid overwhelming myself. This automation has saved me so much time and allows me to focus on the fun parts of decorating, like setting up my daughter’s costume and creating a haunted display in the backyard. 
I’ve also been exploring different DIY projects, such as creating curtain lights and experimenting with neon ropes for a more dramatic effect. It’s amazing how smart lighting can transform a simple decoration into something truly unique. I’m even considering adding some interactive elements, like motion sensors, to make the experience more engaging for visitors.
