Let’s build the future of spatial intelligence together.

Hey folks,

One year ago today, the Aqara Forum was born. Thank you for being on this journey with us

Our first M300 Beta Test went quite well, we appreciated all the excellent feedback and made some great improvements. So, we are back at it with even more new features and 40 fresh beta spots!

Our new MPS Server functionality is a key part of this test, so it is intended for users interested in evaluating setups with this technology.

First, check out this quick video to see some cool tricks from the M300 and the spatial intelligence operating system, Aqara Studio, that powers it.

*Software interfaces shown reflect the current beta test version. Final features and UI may vary in the official release.

Now’s your chance. If you meet the requirements below, you can join this beta test and receive a FREE M300.

Who We’re Looking For

Target Audience: Installers / Integrators / Smart Home Power Users

Requirements:

  • Device Count: Own 30+ Aqara devices

About Aqara Studio: Local. Open. Built for Spaces.

Aqara Studio is the next-generation spatial intelligent operating system from Aqara.

Built for installers, integrators, and smart home power-users. It’s utilization ranges from homes, hospitals, industrial and commercial buildings. Be it wired or wireless, Aqara Studio delivers complete spatial intelligence solutions.

Local Data, Secure & Reliable

Aqara Studio runs locally. Core data never leaves your premises. With multi-layer encryption and strict access control, it is ready for finance, government, or any data‑sensitive scenario.

Two deployment options:

  • Hub‑integrated: Pre‑installed on the M300 and other hubs, ready for homes & other properties

  • Edge‑server deployment: Runs on your own server, ideal for buildings & industrial sites

Multi-Protocol Integration

Have a mixed bag of brands? Retrofitting an old building? With the Aqara Studio’s wide compatibility, that will be not problem.

Aqara Studio natively supports: KNX/IP , BACnet/IP , Modbus TCP , Matter , Home Assistant Centralize everything into one system.

From Connected Devices to Operating Spaces

Smarter Automation, Smarter Life.

Aqara Studio is not just another device management tool, it’s the brain of your space.

Traditional systems see devices as a simple list. Aqara Studio builds a relationship map, understanding which switch is in the living room, next to the sofa, and which light it controls.

The system understands the why of the where, using this intuition to create advanced automations.

Two ways to automate:

  • IFTTT Mode: Quick setup, simple and direct

  • Flow Mode: Visual workflow builder for complex logic, flexible and powerful

Plug‑in Architecture: Capabilities That Grow

Plug‑in ready by design. Soon you will be able to install, update, and combine plug‑ins via Aqara Builder to improve and customize your system as needed.

Fully Open: API + MCP

  • OpenAPI: Standardized interfaces for deep third‑party integration

  • MCP Server: Built‑in Model Context Protocol, giving AI models secure, controllable access to your physical space

Whether you’re an installer, an integrator, a developer, or a smart home power-user, Aqara Studio is open for you.

Local. Open. Alive.
Aqara Studio.

I would love to be a part of Aqara beta testing, I do data analysis, and have a wide range of smart home devices and use HomeKit ecosystem, I have well over 30 smart home devices, and excellent WiFi, I only have the Aqara G410 currently as I just discovered Aqara and decided to build a security/smart home ecosystem with your devices as the base. I’m very detailed and thorough when testing and analyzing and have a lot of experience with writing use cases and user stories. I’d love the chance to be a part of the testing group.

I’m in. I am already working on an AI assisted model for my own use. Playing around with a NVIDIA Jetson. It would be cool to do a side-by-side comparison if that is within the scope.

This is really intriguing…my mind is just starting to engage on the potential.

I have designed spacial context into Home Assistant automations leveraging door sensors, motion sensors, and BLE that can’t be done today in Aqara Home that this would be able to do, but likely in a way that is simpler and easier to maintain.

Also, this spacial awareness with the right UI building blocks could lead to easy(ish) room and full home floorplan-based dashboard designs.

LOTS of potential!

This sounds extremely interesting to me, and while I would love to be part of this beta, reading through, I don’t think I have the necessary skills. I barely get by with Home Assistant. Don’t get me wrong, I would love the device and love to test it, I’m just not sure I would be able to fulfill the technical complexity of openclaw.

You too

Would love to be part of this. But I have embarked on a new smart home from scratch and currently only have 17 accessories across multiple providers controlled by an M3 hub

Have many other accessories either waiting in boxes or on the “to buy” list, give it a month and I think I would qualify :face_exhaling:

I’m most definitely in and wanting to participate! I have been waiting for this device to try out a long time with my setup at home. I have over 100 Aqara devices!

Excited for this opportunity! Looking forward to expanding on my current system and add some more complicated automations. Interested also in how this uses the studio to tie all these features together!

The M300 seems to make my dream of an ideal hub come true with it’s multi-protocol, multi-technology support. I would love to test it and also see how OpenClaw can help me make my devices proactive instead of relying on mostly, manually written automations.

This sounds more and more interesting. I have plenty of devices to test with. Also multiple platforms like smartthings, HA but mainly aqara and apple.
