Have bought the new H2 matter/zigbee plug. When in 'matter" mode there is no problem with the curtains E1, totally 5 at the moment. I have migrated the plug to Zigbee protocol for more information from the plug and the plug is running on hub G2H pro.
Then the problems with the curtains began. I saw all the products in the aqara app and in homekit. It was possible to close and open the curtains but they didn’t react, only the status changed from open to closed or closed to open. I now have the direct solution to overcome this problem. Remove the plug from the outlet and everything directly works again. There is a possibility to go back to matter with the plug but that is only possible if you have a hub, like m3, from aqara. There is no possibiility to go back to the factory matter on tjhe plug. This is not well documented. Have reset and removed the plug several times but problem re-occurs.

Hi there.Here is what you can try and I know that will be an pain but to reconstruct the zigbee between your devices first factory test the plug and set it again as zigbee this way will make as brigade between you camera hub and E1 devices.bow this will not work but at least you have the plug cache erased then try to disconnect the camera hub from the power let it like that for about 2 min so the zigbee mesh could be restored from scratch,and once you plug the camera back on then let the hub connect to you network and this way to remake the zigbee mesh but in all time keep the connected to the power to be used as bridge .see if this could fix the zigbee connectivity and if doesn’t fix it then the best way is to reset you curtain E1 devices and add them back but be close to the plug not the camera hub this way they will restore the zigbee using the plug as bridge to communicate with the hub .
Have tried already everything what you have mentioned. I haver a HomeKit plug for resetting the Aqara camera. Without the new plug sometimes I had a communication failure with one of the E1 accessoires. Have tried with one of the curtains the remove/factory etc. Did not work
Did you check if there is any new update for the plug?because something weird is happening with the zigbee connection I know that this days I also added my 3 Aqara water leak sensors to my M3 hub but because it was a bit fare with some walls in between I needed to make the to connect tru my LED strip T1 that makes the bridge between my sensors and M3 and somehow after a few resets and try’s I manage to make them to connect and now they have excellent signal because of the LED strip.now you need to keep trying too same way but make sure if you can to place you camera hub a bit far away from the plug so your curtain driver can connect tru the plug.no so sure if makes any sense but also can be an issue on the firmware for the plug that it didn’t reset it well.an quick question: why exactly do you need to use the plug in zigbee mode?if you say that your curtain driver works perfectly without the plug and just use the plug on thread mode till aqara will figure it out what is wrong
