Hi everyone, I hope this message finds you well! I’ve been using the HM system for about a year now, and overall, I’m pretty satisfied with it. However, I’ve encountered some heating control problems over the past few days, and I’m hoping someone here can shed some light on the issue.
So, the setup is pretty straightforward. I have a weekend home where I’ve programmed the heating to turn off at 15°C during the week and heat up to 22°C on weekends. This worked perfectly until I added two more thermostats to the system. I also updated the central unit to the latest OS version, 1401, a while back. Now, while the heating system works in principle, it seems like the HM isn’t shutting off properly once the desired temperature is reached.
For example, I set the temperature to 22°C, but when I came home yesterday, the room was at 23.6°C, and the heating was still running. The radiators were operating between 36% and 65% capacity, even though the target temperature had been reached long ago. This isn’t just a one-off issue either. If I set the bedroom thermostat to 15°C, it starts heating again once the temperature drops to around 18°C. It’s quite frustrating!
I’ve checked the thermostats and made sure they’re up to date. They were recently updated due to an F1 error, but that shouldn’t be causing this problem, right? I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues with their HM system. Have you found any solutions or workarounds? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help. I look forward to hearing from you!
Best regards,
Kindsy
