Help! Aqara G400 doorbell not detecting motion and not recording in Apple Home

good afternoon, similar to a reply I saw in someones post yesterday about the g400 doorbell, my doorbell stopped detecting motion, and hence stopped recording in Apple Home yesterday afternoon too , just like the other user, it does record like 10% of the recordings and you have to be close up for detection to happen in Apple Home.

I do have 4 other working HKSV cameras, and the correct iCloud plan, also this Aqara g400 replaced a Reolink video wifi doorbell that I had in Apple Home via Scrypted. the Aqara g400 was working fine for about 30 hours, fyi, its in Apple Home and my Aqara app and displayed on a dashboard of my Home Assistant via RTSP stream. But then yesterday I power it down to physically move it order one inch up and 1 inch to left… But since I moved it and then powered it up, since then Apple Home only catches about 10/15% of detecting the motion events (at most) and people or animals need to be close to work that 15%, and recording them. It is still recording fine in Aqara app to the on board inserted micro SD card. What I tried so far- factory reset Aqara g400, checked apple home settings, its set for ‘stream and allow recording’ for when home and when away, and set to with specific motion set as person, animal, vehicles, and packages, troubleshooting I set it to ‘stream’ for both the when home and when away for like 15 minutes and then switch it back to stream & allow recording . erased ‘activity zone’ and left it deleted. Could have done a couple other things too,. please let me know what else I a possible do? thanks!

Hi. Have you restarted the Apple Home Hub?

I restarted all 10 of my apple home hubs (4 Apple TV 4K + 6 HomePod mini’s) (my manually selected primary home hub is a ethernet wired apple tv 4k. FYI I have 5 cameras total, qty 2 aqara g5 pro poe ethernet cams, qty 1 aqara g100 camera and 1 reolink wifi camera, those other 4 cameras are working 100% fine in Apple Home. thanks

Hello friend,

I have already analyzed the cause of the issues in another post, and I would like you to provide me with several video files from HomeKit to analyze whether it is due to the resolution, or record a screen video of the home app playback page on your iPhone for me.
