I’ve done exactly the same thing with my shower.
I’ve a temp/humidity sensor doing the exact same task.

Yeah depending on how your fan works it could be tricky. For me i have to have 2 relays for it to work. When one turns on my other relay turns off. I have it Configure through home assistant with multiple conditions to check the other relay is really off so i don’t accidentally fry my fan by over volting it. But it all comes down to how yours works.

Which Aqara relay did you use and could you do another video showing how you wired it in? The need for Home Assistant is really interesting and wondered if it’s possible to setup similarly in Apple Home or the Aqara app?
Hello, after doing this video, I found out a feature in the Aqara app called Interlock or something like that, and normally it should remove the need for HA. I’ll test it this weekend. I’m using an Aqara dual relay T2. I’ll make another video as requested this weekend when I have a bit more time, and when I try the Interlock feature.
Interlock works very well in my use case it’s exactly what i need. Even very far away from my hub the relay still responds instantly.
