Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into Home Assistant and wanted to share my experience with setting up geofencing to automate my home security system and cameras. I’ve been using IFTTT to turn off my Blink cameras when my HSM mode switches to Day, but I wanted to streamline the process further.
Here’s what I did: I utilized Hubitat’s geofencing feature to trigger the mode change to Day a few blocks away from my home. This gives IFTTT enough time to turn off the Blink cameras before I arrive. It’s been working like a charm!
