After upgrading my iPhone, tvOS, iPad, HomePod mini to ios/tv/ipados26.2, the Aqara lock D200i has been showing up as “no response”. Prior to this upgrade, it had always been working great with no issues.
Is someone out there having the same issue as I and if there’s an issue with the iOS 26.2 or something else?
Yeah it’s all been done. Restart of iPhone. Router. I changed the home hub between HomePod mini and my usual Apple TV but still the same. Sometimes when I’m home with the phone near my Aqara lock, it would sometimes show as connected. Otherwise 99% of the time it’s showing as “no response”
Removed the lock from HomeKit from the lock itself and bound it again; reset the lock and bound it to the M2 hub again and then HomeKit, both resulted in the still unresponsive state.
When I rebind it, it did show initially as connected on home WiFi until I stepped out of the house on my 5G; it’s showing as No response. When I’m home on WiFi, it sometimes will show it as connected but it’s spotty.
Sigh, I think I’ll just use the Aqara app to view the activity of the lock and just do without HomeKit.
Do you use an Apple Home Hub such as an Apple TV or an HomePod?
I really don’t know, what the problem with your lock is.
If your Guarantee is not expired, you can send it back and buy a new one. Normally after a reset the errors are fixed.
So not just you: I’m having the same issue with my U100 lock (no hub, connected to HomeKit through my AppleTV). It seems to have started sometime in the past few weeks with one of the Apple updates.
I’ve found that if I wait in the Home app or tap on the lock it usually updates and starts connecting? But it used to always be connected when I opened the Home app, now it always shows “no response.” The Aqara app works fine.
After manually switching the hub in Apple Home from my Apple TV to one of my HomePods the Aqara lock is connecting quickly like it did before. So it seems to possibly be related to using the Apple TV as a hub. Maybe a bug in the latest TV OS?
This is the same thing that happened to my U100 after updating all my stuff to 26.2. I reset the lock all the way back to factory, actually, I thought I bricked the dumb thing. I even emailed tech support. Total waste of time.
Finally found this thread. I followed the instructions of turning off the auto select the hub in Home, which was always going to one of the TVs and moving it to a HomePod. At first it didn’t work. I had to remove the batteries from the lock before it reconnected and started working again. Hopefully, Apple fixes whatever they broke. And hopefully, someone at Aqara actually reads these threads so they can give others real help.
