Hello everyone, I’m reaching out to seek some assistance with my Homematic setup. I’ve been using Homematic devices for quite some time now, and they’ve been working perfectly until recently. After one of the updates, I noticed that most of my devices are no longer functioning as they should. This has been quite a puzzle to solve, and I’m hoping the community can shed some light on the issue.
Let me start by describing my setup. I’m running a Proxmox server on a HP thin client, with Home Assistant as a VM. I’m using RaspberryMatic as an add-on via HACS. The hardware includes an eQ-3 HmIP-RFUSB. Everything was working smoothly until one of the recent updates. Now, I’m facing some strange behaviors. For instance, none of my 4-channel blind actuators are responsive anymore. While all the room thermostats appear in Home Assistant, adjusting the temperature causes them to become unavailable almost immediately. This is quite frustrating, especially since I rely on these devices for my daily routines.
I’ve tried troubleshooting by restoring previous configurations and backups, but the issue persists. It seems like the problems might be deeper than a simple configuration revert. I’m wondering if there’s something I’m missing in the update process or if there’s a specific setting that needs adjustment. Has anyone else encountered similar issues after an update? I’d greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to resolve this.
Another thing I noticed is that my Homematic add-on in Home Assistant can only communicate with a portion of the devices. This partial functionality is quite limiting, and I’m eager to get everything back up and running. I’m considering whether a factory reset or a fresh installation might be necessary, but I’m hesitant to take that step without more information.
