Hey everyone, I wanted to share a fun DIY project that not only saved me some money but also gave me a creative outlet. I recently came across an app called Rocketbook that allows you to scan the contents of a whiteboard. However, it requires these $20 orange plastic triangles to mark the corners of the board. At first, I thought, ‘Where am I going to find these?’ But then, something clicked—Govee to the rescue!
I remembered that Govee gave us these orange squares to calibrate the Flow Pro camera. I had two sets, so I decided to give it a try. I cut each square in half to get a triangle and then made them thinner by cutting along the surface. The result? Perfect orange triangles that work seamlessly with the Rocketbook app, and they’re way more durable than paper ones!
This little project not only saved me $20 but also gave me a sense of accomplishment. It’s amazing how a simple idea can turn into something useful. I now have a neat setup where I can take perfect shots of my whiteboard for free. The first photo shows my setup, and the second is a screenshot from the app after a quick scan. It works like a charm!
If you’re looking for a fun and practical DIY project, give this a try. You never know where inspiration will strike next. Thanks to Govee for providing the materials that made this possible! Let me know if you have any creative hacks or DIY ideas in the comments below. Happy crafting! ![]()
