Quick backstory: I picked up the G4 mainly for front door monitoring and love that it supports both Apple Home and local storage. But—surprise surprise—the HA part wasn’t as plug-and-play as I hoped. It showed up in HomeKit, sure, but integrating live stream and events into HA? Not so much.
