How I'm Using Aqara Scene Switch to Create Next-Level Home Automation

Yo guys! Just had to share how I’ve been having a blast with my Aqara scene switch lately. At first I just used it for basic stuff like turning lights on/off, but man this little gadget can do so much more!

My favorite setup? I programmed triple-click to activate “movie mode” - dims the lights, closes my smart curtains halfway, and even sets my soundbar to theater preset. Game changer for Netflix nights!

Also discovered it works great as a panic button - single long press triggers all lights to 100% and plays an alarm tone (tested it accidentally at 2am… my bad).

Anyone else getting creative with scene switches? Would love to steal some of your ideas! The possibilities seem endless once you start playing around with automations.

Pro tip: Don’t forget to label your programmed actions in the app. Learned that the hard way after confusing my “goodnight” and “wake up” scenes for a week
