How to Fix Camera Live View Issues in Home Assistant

I recently purchased a new outdoor battery-operated camera, the Blink 4, and I’m really impressed with its motion detection and video quality. However, I’ve encountered a frustrating issue where the live view feature doesn’t work as expected. When I try to access the live feed, all I see is a gray screen instead of the actual camera feed. This is quite disappointing because the camera detects motion and records video clips perfectly, but the live view functionality is essential for me to monitor my property in real-time.

I’ve spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting this issue. I’ve tried restarting the camera, resetting the network settings, and even reinstalling the Home Assistant integration for Blink cameras. None of these steps have resolved the problem. I’m starting to wonder if there’s a compatibility issue between the Blink 4 camera and the Home Assistant platform or if there’s a specific configuration setting I’m missing.

I’d love to hear from anyone in the community who might have encountered a similar issue and found a workaround or solution. Additionally, if there are any advanced settings or troubleshooting steps I haven’t considered yet, I’d appreciate any guidance or suggestions. Your insights would be incredibly helpful as I continue to try to resolve this issue.

In the meantime, I’ll keep experimenting with different settings and configurations to see if I can get the live view feature working properly. I’m hopeful that with some persistence and the support of this amazing community, I’ll be able to get everything up and running smoothly.
