Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of Lovelace YAML mode and wanted to share my journey and tips. For those who aren’t familiar, YAML mode offers a powerful way to customize your Home Assistant dashboard, but it can be a bit tricky at first. I recently made the switch from Storage mode and encountered some challenges with resources not loading automatically. After some research and experimentation, I found that manually adding resources in the Lovelace configuration was the solution. It’s a bit more hands-on, but the flexibility it offers is worth it!
On another note, I’ve been exploring how to sync music across multiple devices seamlessly. I have a setup with both a Studio and Echo Plus in different rooms, and getting them to play in sync was a puzzle. After some trial and error, I discovered that using the right automation scripts and ensuring all devices are on the same network made all the difference. It’s such a treat to have music flow effortlessly throughout the house!
If anyone has tips or tricks for optimizing Lovelace YAML or syncing music, I’d love to hear them! Let’s keep the learning and sharing going. ![]()
