Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with pairing a Blink Mini Camera. I recently acquired one from a garage sale, and at first, I was a bit puzzled about how to set it up. When I tried to add it to my system, I kept getting a message saying it was part of another system. There was no Blink controller to detach it from, so I wasn’t sure what to do next.
After some research, I found out that Blink cameras can be reset through their web interface. Here’s how I did it:
- First, I connected the Blink Mini to my Wi-Fi network. This was straightforward since it has a built-in Wi-Fi module.
- Then, I accessed the Blink web portal and logged into my account. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to create it.
- Once logged in, I navigated to the ‘My Devices’ section and found an option to add a new camera. It prompted me to enter the camera’s MAC address, which I found on the back of the device.
- After entering the MAC address, the camera was detected and reset, allowing me to pair it with my system successfully.
This process was a bit nerve-wracking at first, but it turned out to be straightforward. Now, my Blink Mini is up and running, and I couldn’t be happier with how it integrates into my smart home setup. If anyone else is struggling with pairing their Blink camera, I hope this helps!
