Hey everyone, I’ve been having some trouble with my HS300 smart power strip. It drops off my WiFi about once a week, which is pretty frustrating. I’ve tried a few things to fix it, like changing the 2.4g channels on my router and limiting it to a 20mhz band, but nothing seems to work consistently. The HS300 is crucial for monitoring power to my NAS and basement TV setup, so having it offline is a real pain, especially when I’m out of town and need to power cycle my NAS remotely.
I’ve noticed that the HS300 reports a signal strength of -45/50dBm, which I think is strong enough, but maybe there’s something else going on. I’ve also tried rebooting my Home Assistant and router, but the only reliable fix is manually unplugging and replugging the power strip. It works for about a week before the issue comes back.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems with their HS300? I’d love to hear any troubleshooting tips or solutions you might have. Maybe there’s a firmware update I’m missing or a setting I haven’t adjusted yet. Let me know your thoughts!
