Hello everyone, I wanted to share my experience setting up Hue bulbs and scenes in my home studio. It’s been quite a journey, but I think I’ve figured it out! ![]()
I have two Hue bulbs and two Sylvania LED strips. My goal was to create three scenes: one for when I enter the studio, another for recording, and a third for editing. Each scene should change the lights to specific colors. I set up all four lights in a group called ‘Studio’ and created three scenes: ‘Beach’, ‘Recording’, and ‘Editing’.
At first, I faced some issues. The door sensors didn’t show up in the scene settings, and when I tried to activate the scenes, the Hue bulbs would change to a weird hot pink color while the LED strips worked fine. After some research and troubleshooting, I realized the problem was with how the scenes were configured. I had to manually adjust the settings and ensure all devices were properly integrated into the group.
Here’s what worked for me:
- Double-check all device connections and ensure they’re in the correct group.
- Manually test each scene to see if it activates properly.
- If issues persist, try resetting the Hue bulbs and重新添加他们到组中。
Now, my scenes work perfectly! When I enter the studio, the lights change to a Savana Sunset color, creating a relaxing atmosphere. When I close the door to record, everything turns red, and when I sit down to edit, the lights switch to blue. It’s amazing how much these small adjustments can enhance my workflow. ![]()
If anyone else is struggling with similar issues, I hope this helps! Happy smart home setup everyone! ![]()
