Hue Bulbs and Groups & Scenes Setup Guide

Hello everyone, I wanted to share my experience setting up Hue bulbs and scenes in my home studio. It’s been quite a journey, but I think I’ve figured it out! :star2:

I have two Hue bulbs and two Sylvania LED strips. My goal was to create three scenes: one for when I enter the studio, another for recording, and a third for editing. Each scene should change the lights to specific colors. I set up all four lights in a group called ‘Studio’ and created three scenes: ‘Beach’, ‘Recording’, and ‘Editing’.

At first, I faced some issues. The door sensors didn’t show up in the scene settings, and when I tried to activate the scenes, the Hue bulbs would change to a weird hot pink color while the LED strips worked fine. After some research and troubleshooting, I realized the problem was with how the scenes were configured. I had to manually adjust the settings and ensure all devices were properly integrated into the group.

Here’s what worked for me:

  1. Double-check all device connections and ensure they’re in the correct group.
  2. Manually test each scene to see if it activates properly.
  3. If issues persist, try resetting the Hue bulbs and重新添加他们到组中。

Now, my scenes work perfectly! When I enter the studio, the lights change to a Savana Sunset color, creating a relaxing atmosphere. When I close the door to record, everything turns red, and when I sit down to edit, the lights switch to blue. It’s amazing how much these small adjustments can enhance my workflow.

If anyone else is struggling with similar issues, I hope this helps! Happy smart home setup everyone! :rocket:
