Hue Dimmer Customization and AI Improvements

I’ve been exploring ways to enhance my Hue lighting setup, and I stumbled upon a really cool customization idea! I’ve connected some Hue lamps and their corresponding dimmers to Home Assistant via deconz, and I’ve been using a custom AppDaemon app to control brightness and toggle lights on and off. However, I’ve been missing the original functionality of the dimmer to change color temperatures when toggling the “on” button. I wonder if it’s possible to modify the turn-on event to toggle between three different color temperatures, like 200, 300, and 400. Or maybe call three different scenes instead. This would add a whole new layer of customization to my lighting setup!

On a different note, I’ve been impressed by the recent AI updates in my TV backlight 3 lite. After applying the update, I noticed that the AI filter automatically adjusted my colors to be more accurate without any manual tweaking. It’s like having a personal color calibration expert in my living room! This feature has been a game-changer for me, especially when I’m watching movies or playing games.

Another exciting development I came across is the Govee Pro COB Light Strip being offered at a 30% discount. It’s perfect for creating ambiance in different rooms. I’ve been thinking about using it in my living room to create a warm, inviting glow in the evenings. The fact that it’s compatible with smart home ecosystems makes it even more appealing!

If anyone has tips or tricks for customizing Hue dimmers or insights into AI-driven color adjustments, I’d love to hear about them. Let’s keep the ideas flowing and make our smart homes even smarter!
