I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation lately, and it’s been an exciting journey! One of the challenges I encountered was with my Hue outdoor motion sensor. Despite having a solid zigbee mesh network with innr outlets, the sensor kept getting stuck on ‘active.’ It was quite puzzling, especially since I ensured the battery was at 100%. After some troubleshooting, I realized the sensor’s reception might be the issue. Moving the sensor closer to the zigbee outlet and adjusting its placement made a significant difference. Now, it’s working like a charm!
Meanwhile, I came across the new Nuki Android App version 2.7.6 Beta, which introduced Galaxy Watch support. This feature has been a game-changer for me. Being able to control my smart lock directly from my wrist is incredibly convenient. The app’s security settings are also reassuring, warning me if I try to open the door without being nearby. It’s all about enhancing security and convenience, and this update definitely ticks both boxes.
I’d love to hear from others who’ve tried the Nuki app update or faced similar issues with their Hue sensors. Sharing experiences and tips always helps us make the most out of our smart home setups! ![]()
