Right now I’m charging the lock U200, but it doesn’t show the charging status in home app.

I have found that it’s pretty common for these devices not to show charging status. That’s kind of on the developers for not properly implementing the charging characteristic, but Aqara’s not the only one that has skipped it.

You should report it to Aqara support as this is an issue because you do not really know if the lock is charging or not more you have no idea when is charged ether so it is a bummer.report it so Aqara developers can fix it.

Hello, to be honest, these U200 locks have a rotary handle (can be closed by turning), which allows you to charge the battery from a standard power supply by removing it from the case for one hour. I never charge this battery using your method. I wouldn’t be surprised if the developers didn’t provide such a charging method. Maybe this battery doesn’t charge in the lock case (this is my assumption). I’ll be home and do some research.

Aqara has stated in various places that battery reporting in apple home isn’t reliable and to always reference their own app for accuracy.
