i mean i’m the “owner” of the one i live in, and “administrator” in the one in which my mother live for whom she’s the “owner” with its own account. (She so gave me the right to administrate.
Despite being administrator for her house, I can’t figure if it’s possible or how to trigger an alert from a leak sensor (being underwater) in her home to appear on my device or app.
@philippe Thank you for sharing your situation. It’s great that you’re using Aqara devices to manage both homes. However, the challenge you’re facing with receiving alerts from a water leak sensor in a different account is understandable.
The reference information doesn’t provide a direct solution for cross-account notifications. Typically, alerts and notifications are tied to the account that has the device added. Since you’re an administrator and not the owner in your mother’s account, the system might not support such cross-account alert functionality natively.
I recommend reaching out to the Aqara Customer Service Team for more personalized assistance. They might have more detailed information or potential workarounds for your specific setup. You can contact them through the Aqara Home App by navigating to Profile > Help & Feedback > Customer Service, or by scanning the QR code:
If you don’t have an Aqara Home account, you can click here to create a ticket. I apologize for any inconvenience, and I hope this helps you find a solution! Feel free to share any updates or additional questions you might have.
After joining a Home, you can receive all the notifications of the Home, and you can also click “ Home Name ” at the top of the app homepage to switch homes to control the devices of different homes.
If you want to receive leak alerts from your mother’s house, you need to check whether the water leak sensor has been added to the security system or configured with “Push alert message when leak is detected” automation.
