HomeKit supports “If Trigger and Conditions then Actions type of automations.

This type of automations is efficient because the conditions are only evaluated when the automation is triggered.

If seems Aqara automations are of the type if Conditions then Actions.

Would it be better to run your automations on HomeKit? Are there situations you would prefer to run your automations on Aqara even if HomeKit would be available?

I don’t have a HomeKit, so I often regret that Agara doesn’t have “IF conditions then trigger”. Therefore, it’s better to let them run such conditions. Why make a choice, let Agara make such conditions🤣
