Hi all, I wanted to share my experience with IFTTT and how I managed to work around the project limitation of only showing the first 120 items. If you’re like me and have been using IFTTT to integrate various smart devices into your OpenHAB setup, you might have noticed that only the first 120 items are visible. This can be a bit frustrating, especially if you have a lot of devices set up.
I found out that this is a known limitation on IFTTT’s end, and unfortunately, there’s no direct way to increase this limit. However, I discovered a workaround that might help others in a similar situation. By organizing my items into smaller groups or projects, I was able to keep everything manageable and ensure that all my devices remain accessible.
For example, I created separate projects for lighting, security, and climate control. This not only helps IFTTT manage the items more efficiently but also makes it easier for me to navigate and tweak settings when needed. I also found that periodically reviewing and archiving older items that I no longer use helps keep the number of active items under the 120 limit.
If you’re dealing with this issue, I recommend experimenting with different grouping strategies or reaching out to the IFTTT community for additional tips. It’s a bit of a hassle, but with some creativity, you can still make the most out of your smart home setup! ![]()
