Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent success with automating my INNR LED light strips in the kitchen. It’s been a fun project and I’ve learned a lot along the way. Let me walk you through my journey.
Initially, I set up the INNR LED strips to turn on and off automatically when I enter or leave the kitchen. It’s been working perfectly, but I always felt something was missing. I wanted the lights to fade in gradually when I enter and fade out when I leave, creating a smoother transition. The INNR app has a transition feature, but it only goes to 100% brightness, which wasn’t exactly what I wanted.
After some research and a few trial runs, I decided to use a flow with a counter to control the brightness level. The idea was to have the lights fade in to a specific brightness when I enter and fade out to off when I leave. It took a bit of tweaking, but I finally got it to work perfectly! Now, the kitchen lights gently brighten as I walk in and softly dim as I leave, creating a much more pleasant atmosphere.
I’d love to hear if anyone else has tried something similar or has tips for even smoother automation. It’s amazing how these small adjustments can make such a big difference in daily life. Thanks to everyone in the community for the inspiration and support! ![]()
