Installation HUB G5 - password

I want to install the new camera but the systems says “incorrect wlan password”. However, the password is correct and the wlan name does also not include unallowed characters, Can someone help? Thx

@stephanludwig It sounds like you’re experiencing a frustrating issue with your new camera installation. Let’s see if we can troubleshoot this together. Although the reference information does not specifically mention the HUB G5, we can draw insights from similar Aqara devices that might be helpful:

  1. Wi-Fi Information: Double-check that your camera is indeed connecting to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, as many Aqara devices require this frequency. Also, ensure that your network name (SSID) and password do not contain unsupported special characters like @, #, %, -, or $.

  2. Wi-Fi Settings: Review your router settings to see if the Wi-Fi anti-squatter or AP isolation features are enabled, as these can prevent the camera from connecting to the Internet or being discovered in the network.

  3. Password Verification: Even though you mentioned the password is correct, it’s worth re-entering it to rule out any potential typos or errors.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, it might be beneficial to seek assistance from the Aqara community or customer support. Please contact the Customer Service Team via the Aqara Home App (Profile > Help & Feedback > Customer Service) or scan the QR code below for efficient assistance:
