Hello fellow smart home enthusiasts! I’ve been on a mission lately to integrate a new smart lock into my home automation setup, and I wanted to share my experience in case it helps anyone else out there.
The Goal:
I wanted to replace my old, traditional deadbolt with a smart lock that could be controlled via my Hubitat ecosystem. The main objectives were seamless integration, reliability, and ease of use. After some research, I settled on the August Smart Lock Pro, which seemed to tick all the boxes.
