Hi everyone, I’m really excited to dive into integrating my Homematic IP setup with Alexa! I’ve been using Homematic for a while now, and it’s been fantastic, but I’m eager to leverage Alexa’s voice control for an even more seamless experience. I have a CCU2 with various components like thermostats, room sensors, and roller shutters. My goal is to control all of these through Alexa, but I’m not entirely sure how to proceed.
I came across the Homematic IP integration for Alexa, but I’m a bit confused about the setup. Is it possible to connect my CCU2 directly to the Homematic IP Access Point and then use Alexa to control everything? Or do I need to set up the Homematic IP devices separately without relying on the CCU2? I’m also wondering if there are any specific configurations or scripts I need to run on the CCU2 to make this work smoothly.
