So, here’s the setup: I have a couple of Shelly rolladen controllers managing my bedroom blinds. I’ve set up a weekly schedule for them to open at 6 AM Monday through Friday, and close when the sun sets on weekends. It’s a simple yet effective way to let natural light wake me up during the week and enjoy a cozy evening on weekends. But here’s the catch—I wanted to deactivate the morning routine on public holidays without manually turning off each rolladen schedule. That’s where scenes came to the rescue! I created a scene that toggles all my rolladen schedules at once. Now, on holidays, I can easily pause the morning wake-up call with just a few taps. One thing I noticed is that scenes don’t natively support astro events like sunrise or sunset. At first, I thought I might have missed something, but after digging through the settings, it seems it’s just not an option right now. Still, using scenes to group devices and control schedules manually is a solid workaround. If anyone has tips on how to integrate astro data directly into scenes or knows of any upcoming features that might enable this, I’d love to hear about it!
