Integrating August and Yale Smart Locks with Home Assistant

After spending considerable time researching and comparing smart locks, I’ve narrowed my options down to the August Smart Lock Pro and Yale’s offerings available in India. My goal is to integrate these locks seamlessly with my Home Assistant setup, which is based on KNX. The August Smart Lock Pro seems like a solid choice with its built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, eliminating the need for a separate bridge. However, I’m also intrigued by Yale’s range, especially their fingerprint-enabled locks, which could offer an added layer of security and convenience.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has successfully integrated either of these locks with Home Assistant. Are there any specific configurations or workarounds that I should be aware of? Additionally, I’m curious about the reliability and performance of these locks in real-world scenarios. Any insights or recommendations would be invaluable as I make my final decision. Thanks in advance for your help!
