I hope you’re all having a great day. I wanted to reach out and share something that’s been on my mind regarding the Bosch SHC thermostat integration. Currently, it seems that the thermostat is only recognized as a sensor, providing measurement data, but not as a climate entity that we can actively control. This is something that would greatly enhance my smart home setup, allowing for more seamless temperature management and integration with other systems.
I understand that this might be a feature that requires some development work, but I believe it would be incredibly valuable for the community. If others are interested in seeing this functionality, your reactions would really help in drawing attention to the request. Let me know if you’d like to collaborate or discuss further possibilities!
