Hey everyone, I’ve been experimenting with setting up text-to-speech notifications using my Bose Soundtouch 10/20 speakers. While it’s a fantastic feature, I’ve encountered a peculiar issue. Every time I trigger a notification, the speaker seems to have a slight delay before it starts playing the message, and then it turns off abruptly. It’s almost as if the speaker isn’t fully engaging before the audio starts. Has anyone else experienced this and found a workaround?
Additionally, I have each of these speakers paired with an Echo Dot, which has introduced another challenge—Bluetooth connectivity issues. The connection tends to drop randomly, which is quite frustrating. I’ve heard this is a known issue with Bose devices, but I’m curious if the community has any effective troubleshooting steps or settings adjustments that could help stabilize the connection.
On a lighter note, I’ve been impressed with how seamlessly these speakers integrate with my smart home setup otherwise. The sound quality is top-notch, and the convenience of voice-controlled adjustments is a huge plus. I’m hopeful that with some tweaking, I can resolve these hiccups and fully enjoy the benefits of this integration.
