Hello everyone, I’ve recently set up my Bosch Smart Home Controller and successfully integrated my 3-year-old Buderus Logamax Plus GB-192-30 iT boiler. While the integration worked smoothly, I have a few questions and observations to share.
First, during the setup process, I noticed that some guides recommend pressing the reset button on the boiler, but I didn’t do that. Is this step absolutely necessary, or can it be skipped without issues? In the Smart Home app, the boiler now appears under devices, but I’m a bit confused about the settings it requires. For instance, during the setup, I had to select a radiator, convector, or floor heating type. Since I have radiators in most rooms and only floor heating in the bathroom, I chose radiator. I’d love to understand why this distinction is needed and how it affects performance.
Another thing I’m curious about is whether the initial setup is sufficient, or if there are advanced configurations I should consider for optimal performance. If anyone has experience with this boiler and the Bosch Smart Home Controller, I’d appreciate any tips or insights you can share. Happy to discuss further and learn from the community’s experiences!
