Integrating Daikin DX System with Home Assistant for Hotel Automation

I’ve been working on automating the lighting system in a hotel with 62 rooms using Home Assistant, and it’s been a fantastic experience so far. The ability to automatically turn off lights when guests check out has significantly reduced energy consumption. Now, I’m looking to take this a step further by integrating the Daikin DX system to control the air conditioning and heating upon check-out.

The hotel currently uses an I-Touch system for controlling AC units, but I’m unsure if the existing Daikin integration in Home Assistant supports this setup. I’ve heard about options like Daikin Cloud Service Energy or Remote Monitoring, but I’m not entirely clear on how to implement them. If anyone has experience with similar integrations or can provide guidance, I’d greatly appreciate it!

This project is not just about saving energy; it’s also about enhancing guest comfort and streamlining operations. I’m excited to explore these possibilities and would love to hear from anyone who has tackled a similar challenge.
