Hello everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience integrating a Fibaro smoke sensor and a Samsung smart TV into my home automation setup. It’s been a journey, but the results are fantastic!
First, I was trying to adjust the hysteresis temperature parameter on my Fibaro smoke sensor. Initially, it seemed like the settings weren’t sticking, but after some research and tweaking, I managed to get it right. It’s such a relief to have this working smoothly, especially for safety purposes.
Then, I moved on to the Samsung smart TV. I was curious about casting videos directly from my Home Assistant setup. After some trial and error, I discovered that using the media_player.play_media service with the right configuration worked perfectly! It’s amazing how everything comes together when you find the right approach.
