Hi everyone, I’ve been using Alexa to control my garage door for ages, and it’s worked perfectly. But now that I’m exploring Android Auto without Alexa integration, I want to set up Google Assistant for the same purpose. My garage door motor reacts to push button events, which are handled by a Z-Wave device. In OpenHAB, I have a simple switch setup that works well with Alexa. However, when I tried integrating Google, the switch state remains ON for a long time, which isn’t ideal. I had hoped that setting autoupdate=false would resolve this, but it didn’t. Does anyone have tips on how to make Google Assistant behave more like a push button switch? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Wolfgang
