I’ve been on a journey to create a cohesive smart home ecosystem, and I’d love to share some of my experiences and tips with you all. 
Starting with Govee, their RGBIC cloud setup has been a game-changer for my home’s ambiance. Measuring the distances and planning the lighting layout was a fun challenge, and the end result is simply stunning! The strip covers exactly what I needed, and the flexibility of the Govee app makes adjusting colors and effects a breeze. If you’re considering adding some dynamic lighting to your space, I highly recommend giving Govee a try. 
Now, onto integrating Shelly devices. I recently wanted to add a Shelly Plus 1 to control our garden gate, but there was a catch—the gate’s existing switch setup was a bit tricky. After some research and reaching out to the community, I figured out a way to wire the Shelly into the existing circuit without compromising functionality. It’s been running smoothly ever since! 
One thing I’ve learned is that combining different brands can sometimes be a puzzle, but with a little creativity and community support, it’s totally doable. If you’re looking to mix and match devices, don’t hesitate to ask for advice—there’s always someone willing to help!
