Hello everyone, I stumbled upon this forum while researching ways to expand my smart home setup. I’ve been using Homematic IP for a while now, and I’m really impressed with its reliability and ease of use. However, I’ve recently come across Raspymatic and I’m curious about its potential to enhance my current system.
I’ve read that Raspymatic allows for more customization and integration with other platforms, which sounds perfect for my needs. I have a Homematic IP Heating Set with an Access Point, and I’m looking to add more devices like thermostats, window contacts, and smart plugs. But I’m not entirely sure how compatible Raspymatic is with my existing setup.
Has anyone here successfully integrated Homematic IP devices with Raspymatic? I’d love to hear about your experiences, especially regarding compatibility, setup challenges, and any tips you might have. I’m also considering purchasing a USB stick for Raspymatic, but I want to make sure it’s a safe investment before I proceed.
