Integrating Hue Lights and Z-Wave Switches with Hubitat

I’ve been using the Hue mobile app for quite some time now, and I’ve integrated my Hue lights into my Hubitat ecosystem along with some Z-Wave switches. It’s been working pretty well, but I’ve been wondering if there’s a way to take it a step further. I’ve heard that Hubitat can emulate a Hue bridge, and I’m really curious about how that could work. Imagine being able to merge all my Hue lights and Z-Wave switches into one cohesive system that the Hue app can control seamlessly! That would be amazing, especially for someone like me who loves the simplicity of the Hue app but also wants the flexibility of Z-Wave devices.

I suspect that this feature would be incredibly useful for users with multiple Hue bridges. Being able to merge them through Hubitat could simplify things a lot. I’ve started exploring the Hubitat documentation and forums to see if anyone has tackled this before. It seems like there might be some potential with virtual devices or custom integrations, but I’m not entirely sure how to proceed yet.

If anyone out there has experience with Hubitat’s Hue emulation or has successfully integrated multiple Hue bridges, I’d love to hear your insights! Whether it’s tips, tricks, or even just a nudge in the right direction, I’m all ears. Let’s see if we can make this vision a reality!
