Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the world of integrating multiple smart home devices from different brands, and it’s been quite an adventure! 
I started with a few Philips Hue lights and quickly expanded to include some Wyze cameras and a couple of Shelly switches. At first, everything worked seamlessly, but as I added more devices, I noticed some compatibility issues. For instance, my Wyze cameras didn’t integrate smoothly with the Philips Hue app, and controlling them through a single interface was a bit of a hassle. 
After some research, I discovered that using a third-party automation platform like OpenHAB could help bridge the gap between different ecosystems. It took a bit of tweaking, but I managed to set up some cool automations, like turning on my Hue lights when a Wyze camera detects motion. 
One thing I’d love to hear more about is how others handle device firmware updates. I recently had to update my Shelly switches, and it was a bit of a pain to find the right firmware and install it manually. Does anyone have a smoother process for this?
