I recently decided to integrate several smart home devices from different brands into my setup, and I must say, it’s been an exciting journey! Starting with the Hubitat Elevation, I was impressed by its seamless integration with my existing Z-Wave and ZigBee devices. The initial setup was a breeze, and I quickly had my lights, thermostats, and security cameras working together. However, I encountered a minor hiccup when trying to connect my Wyze Cam v2 to the system. After some research, I found that updating the firmware resolved the issue, and now everything works like clockwork. I’m particularly fond of how the Hubitat app allows me to create custom routines, making my home truly smart. Despite the minor challenge, I’m thoroughly enjoying the flexibility and customization options my setup now offers.
