I started with a few cameras, including some Arlo models and a Pro 5S 2K. The Arlo system has been reliable, but I’m considering adding more cameras for full coverage. I’m also using a Z-Wave alarm system, which I’ve integrated with OpenHAB. It’s been great, but I’ve noticed some polling issues that I’m still troubleshooting. Any tips on resolving Z-Wave node polling errors would be appreciated! 
Automation and Integration Challenges
One thing I’m struggling with is setting up a seamless automation workflow. I want my security system to send alerts and adjust settings based on whether I’m home or away. For example, when I’m away, I want the alarm to arm automatically and the cameras to start recording if motion is detected. Has anyone successfully set up something similar?

- Alarm Customization: Use templates in Home Assistant to simplify alarm configurations and avoid errors.

I’m considering adding some Wyze floodlights for outdoor coverage but heard they might not be sound-activated anymore. Any alternatives or workarounds?
