As a homeowner who values both aesthetics and functionality, I recently installed Norman Perfect Tilt G4 motorized plantation shutters. These shutters are stunning and operate effortlessly, thanks to their built-in solar charging and smooth operation. However, the true magic would be integrating them into my Hubitat ecosystem for seamless automation. I’ve heard they use a proprietary RF transmission and come with their own hub, which has a RS232 port. I’m curious if anyone has successfully integrated these into Hubitat and what methods they used. The potential to control them via voice commands or automate their operation based on sunrise/sunset times is incredibly appealing. If anyone has insights or tips, I’d be grateful for the guidance!
